Bob Bartholomew

Bob Bartholomew has been involved with dairy goats for over 50 years. He started with a grade doe in 1972 and has been involved with dairy goats ever since, working with several breeds, primarily Nubians, under the B-Bar herd name. His dairy goat experience includes working at both the small-farm level and a large commercial dairy, and he has worked with former ADGA Director Emerita, Judge, and Mary Farley award winner Wes Nordfelt at the well-known Coach Farms in upstate NY.

Bob is an ADGA Life Member and a former Linear Appraiser working for the association for more than 10 years. He earned his first judge’s license during the 1987 Annual Meeting in San Angelo, TX. Throughout the years, he has volunteered for many ADGA committees, including National Show, Linear Appraisal, Spotlight Sale, Type, Judges, Advanced Judges, and he is currently one of the co-chairs of the Judges Training, Assessment, and Licensing Committee.

Having exhibited his own livestock from coast to coast, he truly understands the commitment and dedication, it takes to attend a national show. This will be his fourth time judging our premier show, and he is looking forward to seeing some of the very best dairy goats in the country and working with such a great group of talented judges. He is both honored and excited to be judging our 2026 ADGA National Show in West Springfield, MA.
