Ben Rupchis

Ben Rupchis resides in northern California with his wife Rebekah. They breed Alpines, Lamanchas, Saanens, and Toggenburgs under the prefixes Bearly and Starlet Lace.

Professionally, Ben currently manages the UC Davis Department of Animal Science Goat Teaching and Research Facility. Prior to working at UC Davis he managed two private dairies on the west coast. In addition to being an ADGA judge, he is also a District 8 director, and former linear appraiser.

In all walks of life, Ben is enthusiastic about dairy goat education and the improvement of the dairy goat industry through progressive breeding and management. He is excited and honored to have the opportunity to judge some of the country’s best animals at the 2025 ADGA National Show.
