Trinity Smith Malmanis

Some may call it a full-circle event, given that Trinity’s first National Show was in 1984 in Pomona, CA, at 4 months old. When you look at her experience in between then and now, it seems reasonable that we find ourselves here.
Trinity raises LaMancha’s under the Goat-San herd name, and boards and manages the herd of Shining Moon Alpines. She served on the board of directors for 9 years, including 3 years on the executive committee, and on numerous committees over the years. She is currently the chair of the Linear Appraisal Committee, which she is very passionate about.
Outside of dairy goats, she has two amazing children who are smart, loving, and kind humans. She works as a substitute teacher and coach at her small rural public schools. Coaching basketball and softball is especially rewarding.
She is excited to be judging on the National stage. She is thankful for the community of people who went beyond the status quo to embrace a young person’s passion and provide insight and exposure for a budding goat enthusiast, especially as it relates to the evaluation of dairy goats. The knowledge and experience of today is only possible because of those who shared yesterday.
Trinity recognizes the commitment, time, and money it takes to get dairy goats into the national show ring and is excited to see the results of those efforts.
